Botanical Illustration of Flowers, Japanese Anemone is an original mixed media painting/drawing in a detailed botanical study.
Rhia loves flowers, and Japanese anemone is one of her favourites. She loves the look of anemones, the roundness and shape of their petals, their colour. However, she feels that the best of all are the round outlines of the flower buds. In her eyes, these look just sweet and gorgeous.
When she feels love for an object, this is a visual sort of love. It can be an appreciation of a landscape, deep affection to a plant or a face. She would fell in love with such an object, contemplate on it, and finally, she would paint it! This is why she loves to paint them too.
And so it happened to the artwork with Japanese anemone. Here you can see the result of Rhia's love for the plant.
