This is an abstract and semi-abstract depiction of the large shrub which grows in our garden. In summer, its lovely and refreshing flowers look incredibly admirable against the cloudless blue sky.

This painting is painted in wabi-sabi style and brings a kick of freshness into home or office!

Rhia has painted on handmade, fine grain linen canvas, which is fixed to an MDF board. The linen canvas was primed four times with universal gesso-primer. Finally, she has painted using professional-grade acrylic paints, and she has varnished the finished artwork to protect it against air pollution and UV radiation.
